At the beginning of listing, the selling real estate property should be priced fairly keeping in mind the results of Comparative Market Analyses prepared by Real Estate Agent. A seller usually does not accept the initial bid of a potential buyer as very often it is below asking price. Seller/Buyers usually except a back-and-forth-negotiation-price. The most sellers make counteroffers with a higher price but still below the listing price in order do not lose the potential sale. The strategy is working in terms of getting the property sold but not in the negotiation of the best dollar price. Keep in mind that the Buyer who really wants to purchase a real estate property remains engaged in negotiation process with a higher offer by your request.
